Hello, I’m Hazel
Kamusta! (Hello, how are you?). I’m Hazel Erika Diaz — a proud second-generation Filipina-Canadian and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Calgary, Alberta. I carry with me the resilience and tenderness of my roots, shaped by growing up between cultures, navigating expectations, and learning to hold space for others while slowly learning to hold space for myself. If you’re someone who’s often the go-to person but secretly wrestles with anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, or feeling “too much” or “not enough,” I see you. You might resonate with anxious attachment, ADHD, autism, or simply be in the messy process of figuring yourself out. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning with deeper questions — you’re welcome here.
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and deeply relational. We’ll explore how your upbringing, nervous system, relationships, and identity all intersect — and how these patterns shape your life today. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about honoring your story, cultivating self-trust, and making space for your most authentic self to emerge. You don’t have to carry everything alone. You deserve support that meets you where you are — with gentleness, curiosity, and care. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, connected, and at home within yourself, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
Fumi Majaro
Hazel receives clinical supervision from Fumi Majaro, a Registered Psychotherapist and CRPO-approved Clinical Supervisor based in Ontario. Fumi brings a calm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence to her work — supporting both clients and supervisees in exploring the impacts of relational trauma, anxiety, self-worth, and identity development.
Fumi’s approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and curiosity. She offers a reflective space to unpack internalized narratives, patterns like people-pleasing and emotional dysregulation, and the deeper questions of “Who am I?” and “Am I enough?” Her work is trauma-informed and paced to meet each person where they are, often inviting powerful moments of insight through thoughtful, intentional questions.
In supervision, Fumi creates a safe, non-judgmental space that encourages growth, accountability, and clinical integrity. Hazel is grateful to be supported by a supervisor who embodies compassion, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to healing and transformation.
